I love 

The life in Mumbai

Which is

As fast as a river

As noisy as a Sunday beach

As quiet as a prayer hall !

Within the four walls

I'm safe and secured

No fear for the scores of eyes

Who watch me what I do 

No judgement for the job I do 

May or may  not cushy

No one cares

With whom

I share the seat of the cab

No one cares what dress I wear

No one cares what food I eat

The life in Mumbai

Is so simple,so smooth

And so sweet

No need to shout 

Who I'm

No need to put a mask on my face

No need to think of what I lack

The life in Mumbai 

Is a smooth journey

With all hope

In life

I love Mumbai

Though I have  
A small piece of sky

To watch the twinkling starsabove

Though the streets are busy 

 With a crowd that moves to nowhere

Though the nights are brightened

With a thousand bulbs along

I love my sweet Mumbai
